Oh No, I Accidentally Deleted My Gmail Contacts!

You’re sitting in front of our computer when all of a sudden you accidentally delete all of your contacts or even some of your contacts in your Gmail. Now what do you do besides panic? Don’t despair, you haven’t lost all of those valuable business and personal contacts just yet. There is a way within the Gmail  system to get those contacts back. Here is a step by step process that is simple:

  1. First, make sure that you are in the Contact section of Gmail.
  2. Once on the contact screen click the “more” tab at the top of the screen. This will show you a drop down menu. Scroll down and click on “restore contacts”.
  3. A screen will pop up that will give you a list of restore options. You can restore contacts deleted up to 30 days. You will see several options for restore points much like you would when you restore your computer.
  4. Select your restore point and click on the “restore” button at the bottom of the page and the restore process will begin.
  5. You’ll see at the top of the screen that the contacts are being saved.
  6. Once finished you will get a confirmation alert on the page showing that the contacts was restored to the point you specified.

It’s that simple. So you can erase the panic and feel renewed because your contacts are back. I’ve created a step-by-step walk through on YouTube to assist you. Check it out.
